In Search Of... Two-Lane Blacktop

Took a trip around the county today. First time in a long time. Nothing new out there. Still, the scenery does change with the seasons and I have a good selection of music to choose from.

The road trip was north to Temecula on I-15 and Old 395. Then south on SR-79 through Warner Springs and Julian to S1 (Sunrise Highway) which took me through Mt Laguna to Old Highway 80. Then I headed east on 80 to SR-94 in Boulevard and headed west on 94 back to home. Except for I-15, Center City Parkway in Escondido. and the first part of SR-79 it was all two-lane blacktop.

The selection of music included Bruce Springsteen (Working on a Dream), Michael W. Smith (Worship), Hillsongs (God is in the House), and Loreena McKennitt (The Mask and The Mirror).

The trip took me about six hours with the stops. It was relaxing. I had not been feeling well the past few days and was starting to get a bit stir-crazy.
